Poll for everybody

43% of this group have not been rejected or cut off by their families.

We'll make a few assumptions.
►  Parents/family we know have not rejected their children:
Andy and Patty Grove, daughter Catherine
Moses and Mercy David, daughter Preethi Morris
Anand David, Preethi's brother
Jean and Jesse Morris, sons Sean and Jesse Morris
The Brasells, daughters Lindsay and Stephanie
Ted Gardner, son Jake Gardner
The Pearces, son William, daughter-in-law Holly
Cory McLaughlin's mother

►  Heidi Keyes is a member and parent of daughters who are also members: Autumn Rose, Sunshine, Hosanna and one more. Obviously, their mother did not reject them, they are all there together, and their father is not living.

►  The Bookers are the only locals to join the group from the Wells community. They are elderly and don't have living parents.

That's 6 men and 11 women of the 36 men and 29 women in this group.
Update: Parents for 5 daughters/sons and spouses, and 1 single man have responded on the parents' thread.

This poll down here ↓↓ is for everyone. Anyone who has an absence of someone in their lives because of involvement with this group. Parents can do both if they like.

Do you reject your family member because they joined Church of Wells?

Re: Poll for everybody

Can this poll include friends and loved ones?

Re: Poll for everybody

Yes, it's for families and loved ones. That includes, best friends, baby-daddies, step-families, in-laws, dating relationships, anyone who would have a close personal ongoing relationship if they weren't in CoW and feels a sense of loss by their absence.

Can't edit the poll. Family member = loved one.

Re: Poll for everybody

We, also, did not cutoff our daughter and son-in-law. They are the ones that say they can't have fellowship with us, even though we are born again Christians, like most of the parents I have talked to.   My daughter is Nickie Fraker.

Re: Poll for everybody

We have not rejected our daughter, we love her and want a relationship with her and our grandkids. We know she loves us, but we know they are just following the elders
beliefs because they don't think we are saved. Our daughter is Miranda Taddy Corriz.

"Bumping" is a way of refreshing. A nothing word posted soley for the value of making a comment, so the thread becomes "most recent" and therefore more visible. Bumping it up.

Re: Poll for everybody

And I don't see the point in such restrictions. I think any student are now able to bypass the lock, at least using a proxy server for this. But there are methods that you do not even know.
