I don't understand this point.
From a personal conversation with him, I can safely say Mr. Courville does not have influence over the leaders of the ymbba group. If he provided a 'church covering', he would be able to hold them accountable. They would listen to his counsel. They would defer to his wishes, rather than pursue their own wishes. A covering church is not a tyrannical church, but it provides prayer support to further the ministries of the church whom they sent out on a mission, and often, it provides support funds. I have no reason to believe any of this 'church covering' relationship is really happening, currently. I thought it may have happened in the distant past, but I have no facts to verify that, either.

The sentence was: "I have to think that if their fathers withdrew support..."

At one point the Texas Boys HAD relationships with older evanglical preachers with established recognized ministries and churches. They WERE associated, beyond just mere social acquaintence. The Texas Boys married their daughters.

These are adult children of evangelical Christian families, with close family relationships. They wouldn't still be buddies with the CoW group, if their fathers had issues with them. CoW hasn't Troll them. They are all friends. So they must still have some kind of relationship.
Unless Church of Wells has a different set of rules for preachers and their families and they don't get shunned.

"From a personal conversation with him, I can safely say Mr. Courville does not have influence over the leaders of the ymbba group."
Good to know.

Ok, now I understand. Yes, these statements seem true. I don't perceive there is a different set of rules, in the Courville instance.
